...and just what is highly dacreable?
adjective: [DAY-kra-bul] ~ see; agreeable | charming | fine | pleasant
Yes, your 100% correct.
Dacreable, is not a real word. Well, that is to say that until you’ve received this correspondence it wasn’t. Now, though? It is. And, whilst you won’t win any games of Scrabble with it—although, as it is with most families, the house-rules become a little vague, very quickly—you may find it suitably apt down the track, when you just can’t find that perfect adjective.
Could ‘dacreable’ be the je ne sais quoi, of the English language? Perhaps, one day.
That would be the ultimate compliment after all—let’s be realistic however (at least for the first blog entry…?). The world IS only learning the word today, after all.
Dacreable; the nature of something being agreeable, charming, fine, or pleasant. A suitable description for an entire rang of agreeable and pleasant things. The purpose of this blog heretofore, is to find agreeable and pleasant things (if not things that are just straightforwardly interesting!), and share them with you.
What’s more, I’m jumping in here with paired adjectives: Highly dacreable… !?
SO, WHAT IS IT WE ARE ACTUALLY DOING HERE…
Ultimately then, each week I want to share with you a world of things that a highly pleasant. Highly agreeable! If you ever have a suggestion, I’m all ears—I would be happy to investigate. For now though, I’ll happily share with you the things I find highly dacreable, and it is my hope and wish that you find them of interest also.
Ideally, these blog posts will be a learning experience for both of us. Welcome aboard!
Thanks for stopping by, and our first post will be along shortly.
